GCG Women’s Fellowship Celebrated Mothers Day on May 9, 2021. Rev. Smita E. Roziya (Director of Methodist Missionary Movement) led the worship. Kids honors Moms in special online video presentation.

Mothers Day was celebrated on May 10, 2020. Pastors Emmanuel and Pearl Gollar (Dharavi Church Ministries, Mumbai, India) led the worship. Kids honored moms in a special video presentation.

Christmas Day- December 25, 2019

Sunday School of CGC led the worship service on November 24, 2019. The program included songs, presentation by the children and the Word of God was shared by one of the teachers, Dimple Emmanuel.

The Annual Church Retreat was held during July 19 to 21, 2019 at Jacksons Point Conference Center, Jacksons Point, Ontario. Mr. Joel (Jollybhai) Christie from Houston, Texas share God’s Word. The church family had a blessed time at the retreat.

Family Conference was conducted on June 29 and 30, 3012. Rev Dr. Joseph Paturi (Pastor International Baptist Church, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA) shared God’s Word.

Mothers Day was celebrated on May 12, 2019. Pastor Lillian Brown shared God’s Word. Mothers were honored by children and the service was followed by dinner.

CGC celebrated Christmas and New Year with great joy on December 25, 2018 and January 1, 2019.

Sunday School Sunday was celebrated on November 25, 2018. The children led the worship and presented songs. The children, teachers and volunteers worked very hard to make the celebration a blessing. Pastor preached on “Love God and Love Others”

CGC Youth Sunday was celebrated on October 14, 2018. The Youth Group led the worship service. Brother Zeerick Hussein share God’s Word.

CGC Church Family had a blessed time at the Retreat at YMCA Cedar Glen Centre at Schomberg, ON on August 4 & 5, 2018. Dr. T.V. Thomas share God’s Word.

CGC Church Family had a great time at the picnic on August 28, 2018 at Lakeview Park, Oshawa.

Fathers were honored on Fathers Day celebrated on June 17, 2018. Mrs. Sheelaben Vaghela shared God’s Word. Mothers treated all with delicious potluck dinner after the service.

The Christmas Day Service was a blessed event on December 25, 2017. The service was well attended by the families of Gujarati community from the GTA area, followed by cultural program and dinner. The Bishop, Rev Silvans Christian visited CFC family and extended Christmas greetings to all.

The Candlelight Carols Service was held on December 10, 2017. The CGC choir and Sunday School kids led the congregation in worship through carols, followed by fellowship dinner, graciously provided by a family.

CGC Family had a blessed time of retreat at Muskoka Bible Centre during September 8-10, 2017.  Pastor Percy Macwan, Canaan Gujarati Church, NY, USA share God’s Word.

Canadian Gujarati Christchurch

CGC Royals won the cricket series with PBC Warriors on August 19, 2017. The congregations of Canadian Gujarati Christchurch and Praise Bible Church had great time of fellowship, fun and food. During the cricket match gospel was also shared with passer byes.

Youth Sunday was celebrated on August 6, 2017. Rev Sudhakar Mondithoka shared God’s Word. The youth group members led the worship and a presentation.

Fathers Day was celebrated to honor the fathers on June 18, 2017, followed by a dinner. Mr. George Johnson from Hilltop Chapel shared God’s Word.:

Spiritual Revival Meeting with Rev Dr. Joel Kant was organized on June 4, 2017. The Pastor shared God’s Word on the theme of 2nd Coming of Christ. It was a blessed and challenging sermon. Praise God!

Women’s Sunday was celebrated on November 13, 2016. Mrs. Sheela Vaghela (Former IEM Missionary) shared God’s Word. The service was followed by potluck dinner.

5th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service was held on July 9, 2016. Pastor Jayantibhai Christian shared God’s Word. The event was organized to celebrate God’s faithfulness for the past 5 years (2011-2016).

Father’s Day Celebration on June 19, 2016. The Word of God was shared by Pastor Viral Christian. Sunday School children spoke about their fathers. The program concluded with Bible Quiz, games and potluck prepared by the ladies.

Mother’s Day was celebrated on May 8, 2016. The service included sharing by mothers and honoring mothers by children and fathers. The program concluded with dinner and fellowship time.

Combined Passion Week Meetings were organized by Canadian Gujarati Christchurch and Praise Bible Church during March 24-27, 2016. Pastor Philip and Jasmine Parmar (Houston, Texas) were the speakers. We were richly blessed by the Word of God preached by Pastor Philip and worship led by Jasmine.  On Resurrection Day the Worship Service was followed by a cultural program and fellowship meal. All glory to God.
